The HÅG Capisco Puls 8010 Clean Room brings the iconic saddle seat into controlled environments such as pharmaceutical production, laboratories, medical device manufacturing and electronics assembly.
- Anti-static synthetic leather by Nevotex helps prevent static build-up around sensitive products and processes.
- Mainly solid materials: only a small area in the centre of the seat is upholstered, so there is little to trap particles.
- Smooth, closed surfaces that can be wiped down and disinfected with 70% ethanol.
- Dynamic sitting: low, high and semi-standing working positions, ideal at lab benches and production lines.

Continuously adjusting seat angle and seat height still kept the working zone within ISO Class 4.

After deliberate contamination by bare hands, no microbes were found on seat and backrest once rinsed with 70% ethanol.
Tested by CIT Energy Management AB in a cleanroom test chamber at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg (Sweden), with unidirectional HEPA-filtered airflow and a test person in high-quality cleanroom garments.

Technical details
Upholstery
The cleanroom version is upholstered in anti-static synthetic leather by Nevotex (price group 3). This upholstery was used in the ISO 14644 air cleanliness test and is the only upholstery offered for this cleanroom model.
Cleaning & Disinfection
Wipe seat, backrest and frame with 70% ethanol and a cleanroom cloth. Clean the castors and upholstery regularly with a suitable cleaning agent; this is also a condition of the 5-year cleanroom warranty. See our Care & Maintenance guide for more information.
Warranty
Flokk provides a 5-year warranty on cleanroom chairs, on condition that castors and upholstery are cleaned regularly with a suitable cleaning agent. Unless otherwise specified, the maximum weight for users is 110 kg.

Can I choose a different fabric?
The cleanroom version is only available in anti-static synthetic leather by Nevotex, the upholstery that was tested. Other HÅG models can be supplied with vinyl upholstery for areas that need regular cleaning. Contact us for advice.
What's the difference with the standard Capisco Puls 8010?
