The executive chair that still lets you move. Three models, one high back.
The HÅG Tribute is Flokk's executive chair: a high, S-curved back with an extra comfort layer, upholstered front and back, on a solid aluminium base. Unlike most executive chairs it is not built to hold you still — HÅG inBalance® lets the seat and back follow you forwards to the desk and backwards to think. Two task chairs, one with a headrest, and a meeting chair share the same back, so a boardroom and the offices around it can match.

Identical on every model: 455 mm seat width, the high S-curved back with the extra comfort layer, five fabric and leather families, five aluminium finishes and a ten-year warranty.
Headrest or not?
The back of every Tribute already reaches the shoulders, so the 9021 is a complete executive chair on its own and has the calmer silhouette from behind. Choose the 9031 if you lean back for calls, reading or thinking: its headrest sits on the active upper back and follows you forward as you recline, so the neck stays supported. Decide now — a headrest cannot be added to a 9021 later.
Task chair or meeting chair?
The task chairs are made for a full day: tilt tension in both directions, a three-position lock, adjustable seat depth and TiltDown™ armrests. The Meeting 9073 keeps the back and the gentle movement, drops the controls a visitor never touches, and stands on a smaller base that tucks under a table — or on a four-star base with glides that stays where you put it.
How it works
An executive chair that moves with you
HÅG inBalance®
The seat and back tilt around a pivot near the middle of the seat, so the chair follows you forwards when you lean into the desk and backwards when you sit back. On the task chairs you set the resistance for your weight in both directions and can lock it in three positions.
An S-curved back with an active upper part
The back follows the natural S of the spine. As you recline, its upper part — and on the 9031 the headrest — moves forward to stay in contact with your shoulders and neck. The lumbar support is built in and adjusts to where your lower back is.
HÅG TiltDown™ armrests
Adjustable in height and width, and they tilt down out of the way so you can pull the chair right up to the desk edge. Black leather tops as standard, or the same leather as a leather chair at no extra cost.

Materials
Fabric or leather, and what it costs
The Tribute carries a lot of upholstery — a high back padded front and back, the extra comfort layer and, on the 9031, the headrest — so the covering is the biggest influence on both the price and the character of the chair. Every configurator offers the same five families:
- Cura Loop (Gabriel) and Xtreme (Camira) — price group 1, included in the base price.
- Select (Gabriel) — group 2. A fine, dense weave in fifteen colours.
- Capture (Gabriel) — group 3. A textured melange in ten colours.
- Paloma Soft (Wollsdorf) — group 6. Supple chrome-free leather in six colours.
- Elmosoft (Elmo) — group 7. Semi-aniline leather in black, dark brown and cognac.

Options and what depends on what
The configurators only offer combinations Flokk builds. These are the rules behind them.

Design
Svein Asbjørnsen — sapDesign®
The Tribute is drawn by Svein Asbjørnsen, whose studio sapDesign® sits between the fjord and the mountains in Sykkylven — a Norwegian town that has built furniture for generations. Flokk makes it in Røros, the same factory that builds the HÅG Capisco, Creed and SoFi.
Sustainability
In numbers
From Flokk's independently verified Environmental Product Declaration, measured on the 9031 with TiltDown™ armrests.
Back, seat and headrest are replaceable as complete parts, so a worn cover never means a new chair.
Warranty
- 10 years on the chair and accessories, in normal use up to nine hours a day.
- 5 years above nine hours a day, and in 24/7 use with an approved covering.
- 10 years on standard-collection fabrics and leathers in normal use.

Questions
HÅG Tribute — frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the HÅG Tribute 9021, 9031 and 9073?
All three share the same high, S-curved back with the Tribute's extra comfort layer. The 9021 is the task chair, the 9031 is the same task chair with an adjustable headrest (and the option of a coat hanger), and the 9073 is the meeting version: a simpler mechanism, a smaller Ø650 mm five-star base or a four-star base on glides, and armrests as an option.
Can I add a headrest to a 9021 later?
No. The 9031's headrest sits on its own back, so it cannot be fitted to a 9021 afterwards. If you think you will want one, order the 9031.
Is the HÅG Tribute available in leather?
Yes. The configurator offers Paloma Soft leather (Wollsdorf) in six colours and Elmosoft (Elmo) in three, next to the fabrics Cura Loop, Xtreme, Select and Capture. On the task chairs, the armrest tops can be in the same leather as the seat at no extra cost.
Which aluminium finishes are there?
Five: all black, black base with polished details, polished base with all details black, polished base with black details, and all polished. The photos in each configurator change with your choice.
Which Tribute is in the Quick-Ship programme?
The 9021 and 9031, in a small set of popular colours, with delivery in about 15 working days. The 9073 is always built to order; the standard collection takes 20–25 working days.
Is the four-star base still available?
Flokk is phasing out the Ø785 mm four-star base of the 9073 during 2026 and supplies it while stock lasts. The five-star Ø650 mm base stays in the range, and can also be fitted with glides.
What is the maximum user weight?
110 kg unless otherwise stated — the basis of EN 1335, the European office-chair standard that the task chairs are tested to.
How sustainable is the HÅG Tribute?
Flokk's independently verified EPD gives 84.41 kg CO₂e per chair and 45.90 % recycled content by weight for the 9031 with TiltDown armrests. The Tribute holds GREENGUARD Gold, and back, seat and headrest are replaceable parts.
Who designed the HÅG Tribute?
Svein Asbjørnsen and his studio sapDesign® in Sykkylven, Norway. The chair is made by Flokk in Røros, where HÅG has built chairs since 1957.
What is the warranty?
Ten years on the chair and accessories in normal use up to nine hours a day, and five years beyond that. Standard-collection fabrics and leathers carry ten years in normal use.
