Colourful saddle stool, extra-soft seat

The HÅG Capisco Puls 8002 combines the Puls saddle seat with an extra-thick removable cushion for all-day comfort. Backless and light on its feet, it lets you sit high, sit low or perch at a standing desk while staying balanced and upright.

Want a backrest later?

The 8002 can’t be converted into a Capisco Puls 8020 afterwards: the seat is different, so a backrest can’t be fitted. If you think you might want one, choose the 8020 from the start.

It has a matt, slightly irregular and natural-looking texture where the dark, underlying grey fibers create a discreet yet vibrant melange effect.         FAQ – PUxx 1 vs. PUxx 2

        What is the difference between PUxx 1 and PUxx 2?

        There is very little difference between the two:

        • PUxx 1: slight sheen with a natural leather grain; colors are more subtle and muted.
        • PUxx 2: matte finish with a smooth (no-grain) surface; colors are brighter and more vibrant.

        Do PUxx 1 and PUxx 2 have different prices or performance?

        No. Both collections have the same price, technical properties, and certifications.

        Are both options available for my HÅG chair?

        Yes, PUxx 1 and PUxx 2 are available for all HÅG models, except for the HÅG Conventio 9510, 9511, and 9512.

        Paloma Soft is a high quality semi-aniline leather. All our standard colours from Paloma have a special finish adding a particular softness to the leather. Excellent friction and breathing properties. The surface may feature small scars and marks resulting from insect bites etc. These are proof of the natural origin of the product and are part of its character.

        HÅG-Office provides a 10 year warranty for all HÅG chairs that are in normal use for up to 9 hours per day. Unless otherwise specified, the maximum weight for users is 110 kg.

        24/7 – 5 year warranty.

        HÅG-Office provides a 5-year warranty for HÅG chairs that are specifically purchased for 24-hour use, and which are upholstered in 24/7 approved fabrics/leather from the Standard Fabric collection.

        Frequently Asked Questions

        Which gas lift should I choose?

        The Capisco Puls 8002 comes with a choice of three gas lifts, all at no extra cost:

        - 265 mm gas lift (standard, seat height 55–79 cm): the default. Ideal for sit-stand desks, counters and higher work surfaces, and for taller users.

        - 200 mm gas lift (seat height 47–63.5 cm): for standard-height desks and shorter users.

        - 150 mm gas lift (seat height 37.5–51.5 cm): the lowest option, for low work surfaces and petite users.

        The optional foot ring can be combined with the 265 mm and 200 mm gas lifts, not with the 150 mm. Not sure which one suits you? Tell us your height and desk height and we'll advise.

        Which wheels should I choose?

        Choose wheels for hard floors if your flooring is wood, tile, or laminate. Opt for wheels for soft floors if you have carpet. If you have mixed flooring or frequently switch between hard and soft surfaces, universal wheels are the best choice.

        What's the difference between Capisco models?

        The Capisco 8106 features a fully upholstered backrest and saddle seat, offering a softer and more cushioned feel. The Capisco Puls has a plastic backrest and a partially upholstered saddle seat, giving it a lighter and more minimal design. The Capisco 8126 is similar to the 8106 but comes with a more traditional, rounded seat shape for a different sitting experience. Find out more about the differences between the Capisco models.

        Which fabric is recommended for medical environments?

        For medical environments, we recommend the synthetic leather PUxx 1 by Oniro. It is easy to clean and disinfect. The material is waterproof, antibacterial and antifungal. Its strength, durability and low-maintenance properties make it particularly well suited for environments with high cleaning standards.

        Is the office chair delivered unassembled?

        Yes, the Capisco comes unassembled. But don't worry. It's perhaps the easiest chair in the world to assemble. Assembly takes less than 5 minutes. View assembly instructions.
